Mission Statement
The Faculty Advisory Panel on the College Budget (FAPCB) is a committee elected by the faculty to keep a continuous dialogue between the administrators and members of the faculty on subjects pertaining to the college budget. The FAPCB meets regularly with administrators to keep apprised of the current budget considerations and to pose standing questions about the budget. Our goal is to address whether the budget activities are so constituted and managed as to further the college's academic mission. The original 2006 panel charge can be found here.
An interactive version of the FAP Budget Cut Proposal is found under the FAP Proposal for Budget Cuts link. Supporting documents are found under the FAPCB Presentations link. You may submit your comments or questions about the proposal here; either the administration or the FAP will respond in a timely manner. Ideas for generating revenue or creating savings should be submitted to the Budget Ideas page, which the administration oversees. We will soon have a related website for work groups to form.
The administrations response to the FAP proposal can be found by clicking here.
