Come Volunteer with US
The Bike Shop can only stay open when a volunteer is around to keep us open. If you like working on your bike, or the idea of working on your bike, or even just the idea of other people working on their own bikes, then maybe you should consider donating some of your time to the shop. Volunteer's are not required to have any mechanical knowledge. In fact many if not most of our volunteers sign up so they can learn more about bike repair. All we ask is that volunteers commit to being at the shop for a 2 hour shift every week, though if you can't do this and have another idea about how to contribute to the shop, by all means ask and we can probably figure something out. Oh... and you don't even have to be a student to volunteer!

or come on in and put your name on the sign up sheet.
We also strongly encourage volunteers to show up for our weekly meetings in the shop every Wednesday at 2 pm. This is when we all discuss and collectively make decisions about how the shop is run.
